Sapareva banya is a famous Bulgarian balneological resort, located at the foot of Rila National Park. In fact there is the only geyser in the country, so water comes out at the surface as a hot steam of 103C. The hot springs are very rich in minerals and that is the perfect place to relax in the outdoor hot mineral pools after a long day on the slopes.

In the central park there is a fountain of steam where the water is coming out on the surface with 103 C -amazing! Located at the foot of Rila National Park this lovely resort attracts hundreds and thousands of people all year round. This is a fantastic opportunity to relax and chill out in outdoor swimming pool complex. There is a lovely local bar serving fresh drinks&cocktails plus snacks. It is recommended to bring with you flip flops and towels (bath robes and towels available on spot at extra charge) and wearing swimming suites is obligatory. Great fun outside on a fresh air and hot mineral water. Our driver will give you hints and tips to help you get the most of your time.
We start our journey outside main entrance of Hotel Samokov in Borovets at 16:30 towards Sapareva Banya – a famous SPA resort and the only geyser in Bulgaria. The water is coming out on the surface with 103 C, it’s actually a steam fountain, so fascinating. The drive is about 45 mins and is very picturesque, since we admire mountains in each directions. When we arrive, there is a 2 mins intro and then visit of the hot springs – pure time approx. 1:30 hours. Then we return back to Borovets on the same road.
