We start the day with a pickup from any location in Borovets and head off towards Rila National Park.
This is a perfect opportunity to explore the magical Rila mountain and the largest national Park in Bulgaria. It is also the highest Mountain on the whole Balkan Peninsula with Musala peak @2925 m above the sea. Furthermore we selected different itineraries, so depending on weather conditions, snow level, avalanche risk and your physical abilities, we are ready with variety of options which will suit everyone.
The duration of the adventure could vary, again depending on weather conditions or your personal pace.
After the hike we deserve a relax and we will visit one of the famous hot mineral springs in Dolna Banya or Sapareva Banya (depending on itinerary) for one hour.
At the end we return back to Borovets. Drop off at the same place.
We pick up from any location in Borovets. The pick up time will be agreed the day before with the guide. After a short introduction and a safety briefing, we head towards our starting point of our snow shoeing adventure. Then we will put on the snow shoes and our experience in the wild nature is due to begin. We will stop at scenic panoramic points to admire the landscape and take photographs. Later we return back to the car and our adventure continues towards the hot mineral springs. Here we have several options, depending on the itinerary, we can choose between Dolna banya and Sapareva banya, where we will enjoy the thermal baths – such a perfect end of our snow shoeing adventure. Then we go back to Borovets, drop off at the same place.
